The Creative Living Centre (CLC) is an independent community focused organisation which is an integral part of All Saints Floreat Uniting Church’s outreach. The purpose of the CLC is to promote programs that creatively enrich and nurture people’s lives and address broad social needs and issues.
Activities :
- The CLC is the home of the Boab Network formed to assist the Aboriginal peoples of the West Kimberley and especially Mowanjum.
- The CLC is the home of the Black Pearl Network which provides an Australian-Papuan Cultural Exchange program for Papuan tertiary students to come to Australia for a 3 month period of immersion English. It also assists health, clean water and English projects in cooperation with GKI church in Papua.
- Regular speakers, study programs and workshops including for Progressive Christian Network of WA.
- Encourage sustainable use of Earth’s resources and equity for all.
Workshops and Seminars
From time to time the CLC organises guest speakers with a variety of interests and backgrounds to present workshops, discussion groups and talks on contemporary issues, offering growth through learning on a range of topics covering relationships, social issues, good health, spiritual well-being and creativity.
